Professionalism, responsibility and readiness to act in the interests of citizens – these are the qualities that united patrol police officers who successfully completed a professional upgrading program at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
Deputy Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Correspondence Studies of the DonSUIA, Head of the Department of Advanced Training and Specialization, Andrii Rybalkin, addressed the graduates with a welcome speech: «You have once again proven that a real police officer is constantly working to improve his knowledge and skills. In times of trial for the state, it is professionalism, endurance, and dedication to the service that ensure trust of citizens and strengthen security of society».
The trainees mastered modern methods of ensuring public security and order during mass events according to the Scandinavian model, improved their tactical training and decision-making skills in official situations.
The training program additionally covered classification of hazards and emergencies, prevention and counteraction to domestic violence, as well as the principles of interaction with the population on the basis of partnership.
As a result of training, 24 police officers from the Patrol Police Departments of the Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, and Poltava regions received relevant certificates, which attest to upgrading of their professional qualification and readiness to perform official tasks at a high level.
