The organizers of the event were: NGO “Youth Organization “Interaction”, volunteer headquarters “KryvbasPalianytsia” and the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs. Among the participants were students of secondary educational institutions.
The event combined interesting with useful: in a cozy circle of like-minded people at the volunteer headquarters, young people discussed little-known facts from the life of Taras Shevchenko and then joined weaving of camouflage netting for the needs of our military.
According to the founders of KryvbasPalyanytsia, Olena Nazymko and Anna Krynychna, since the beginning of this year, volunteers have woven more than 2,150 square meters of camouflage netting of various colors, depending on the requests of the military. Craftsmen and craftswomen are constantly upgrading weaving techniques and improving materials in order to mask positions from enemy observers as best as possible.
