A new youth center is planned to be opened in Kryvyi Rih. Such a hub is aimed at comprehensive development of the city youth. The initiative to found a creative center was supported by active youth and the Defense Council.
Youth projects managers of the Dnipropetrovsk regional youth center Mariia Bushanska and Hanna Shutko, a representative of the department of family, youth and sports of Kryvyi Rih city council executive committee Yaroslav Bachurin , as well as Daryna Trifonova, a representative of the initiative group for creation of the youth center informed cadets of the faculty of training specialists for the National Police units about the main idea of the project and what interesting things await young people.
“For the space, which is planned to be opened in Kryvyi Rih, to meet the needs of the target audience, a survey is being conducted among city residents aged from 14 to 34. The online questionnaire is anonymous. Due to its results, we will be able to find out the opinion of the community about how they see the Youth Center, its work format, location and even the schedule. The survey is implemented by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Youth Center (DRYC) as a regional representative of the digital platform of UNICEF U-Report,” said Hanna Shutko, manager of youth projects of the DRYC.
