Summarizing the work, awarding scientists and updating the structure of the Coordinating Council of the Scientific Society of students, cadets, trainees, post-graduates, adjuncts and young scientists of DonSUIA are the issues on the agenda of the meeting. The event was opened by the rector of the University, Serhii Vitvitskyi, who admitted the role of the society in the development of the University’s scientific activity. The first vice-rector of the University Yehor Nazymko congratulated young scientists on their achievements in the 2022-2023 academic year.
The head of the scientific society, Olga Kovaliova, reported on the work of the society, which functioned fruitfully during the year, despite the conditions of martial law. Branches of the scientific society operate in Kropyvnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kryvyi Rih.
Members of the scientific society took part in more than 150 events – contests, round tables, conferences; published 56 theses and scientific articles. They became the winners of the first round of the contest of research papers for the first (bachelor) level of higher education of HEI administrated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and will represent DonSUIA in the second round. Besides contests for “The best supervisor of a research group” and “The best cadet researcher” are held at the University.
Representatives of structural units of the University were recognized with diplomas and letters of thanks for high indicators in their research activities.
During the meeting, the issue of updating the structure of the Coordination Council of the Scientific Society of students, cadets, trainees, postgraduates, adjuncts and young scientists of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs was resolved. Olga Gaborets, associate professor of the Department of Operational Investigation and Information Security, was elected its head. She outlined the directions for further development of the research society.
