A meeting with key stakeholders – representatives of government bodies and business communities – was held at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs within the framework of the ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CBHE project «Implementation of the European Approach to Compliance Management in Higher Education in Ukraine».
Members of the University working group Tetiana Ponomariova, Olha Haponiuk, and Volodymyr Shalimov presented the syllabi of the open micro-certified short-term program for business managers «Compliance Management», as well as an optional educational component «Compliance-Security of Business Entities» for higher education seekers of the second (master’s) level in the specialty D8 «Law».
During the event, the speakers introduced the participants to the content of the educational components and emphasized the importance of compliance management in higher education, ways to improve it, and adherence to relevant principles and procedures.
At the end of the event, those present had the opportunity to ask questions about the educational and methodological content of the new educational components at the DonSUIA, as well as discuss issues of academic integrity, ethical standards, and areas of integrating compliance into the activities of higher education institutions.
