Summing up the results of the IV International Student Research Paper Contest took place in Kharkiv at the Yaroslav the Wise National Law University.
The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs was worthily represented by Ihnat Shylo, cadet of the Faculty of Training of Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine, DonSUIA. His scientific research was prepared under the guidance of Iryna Fedorchak, senior lecturer at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the same faculty, head of the Corpus Delikti research group.
The presented work was dedicated to the current topic – «Using artificial intelligence to hide illicit enrichment: new forms of corruption in the context of digitalization». As part of the study, the author analyzed how artificial intelligence technologies can be used to create new corruption schemes, and also proposed effective approaches to countering such challenges. The study has significant practical importance for the activities of anti-corruption units and pre-trial investigation bodies.
According to the results of professional jury assessment, the cadet’s work was awarded one of the most prestigious awards of the contest – the Small Medal in Memory of Professor L. M. Kryvochenko.
