The chief researcher of the research laboratory on prevention of criminal offenses of the DonSUIA, doctor of legal sciences, professor, honored lawyer of Ukraine Ihor Kopotun, spoke about innovative technologies in the development of social protection, financial support, operative medical assistance, social protection of families and legal responsibility of the military personnel. An open meeting on the theme “Social protection for military personnel” was held in Kyiv with the support of the Interfax-Ukraine news agency.
Ihor Kopotun a co-author of “Scientific and practical commentary on the Criminal Code of Ukraine”, presented the book to the participants of the event. The book contains a paragraph-by-paragraph analysis of the provisions of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, in view of the latest changes and amendments as of March 2023. The speaker emphasized the practical aspect of the application of the Code norms, considering the peculiarities of the sphere of social relations to which they relate. The scientist noted: “Special attention is paid to military criminal offenses committed during military training by military personnel, as well as those bound to military service and reservists. The publication is intended for judges, law enforcement officers, practicing lawyers, students, post graduates and University lecturer of legal specialties, as well as everyone who is interested in issues of legal regulation in the field of criminal legislation in Ukraine.”
