The VII All-Ukrainian Open Scientific and Practical Online Forum “Innovative Transformations in Modern Education: Challenges, Realities, Strategies” became a large-scale event that brought together more than 400 participants: scientists, educators, representatives of state bodies and specialists interested in modernization of Ukrainian education.
Rector of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Serhii Vitvitskyi, addressed the participants with a welcome speech. He emphasized that modern education must meet new security and technological challenges, especially in training law enforcement specialists. The head of the University also emphasized the importance of STEM approaches, digital platforms, and interdisciplinary cooperation for training a new generation of professionals.
The same theme of innovation and strategic development was continued by other leading speakers.
The following spoke to the participants: President of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Stanislav Dovhyi, who focused on the importance of forming an educational environment that promotes the development of creativity and scientific thinking of young people; Director of the Institute of Gifted Children of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Maksym Halchenko, who spoke about creating an intellectual environment for every gifted child; Director of the Center for Ukrainian-European Scientific Cooperation, Mykhailo Vikhliaiev, emphasized the integration of Ukrainian science into the European educational space. And Olha Pinchuk, Deputy Director of the Institute for Digitalization of Education, noted that modern teachers must effectively use digital technologies in teaching.
The forum covered a number of scientific panels, including: educational paradigms of artificial intelligence; digitalization of education based on STEM principles; “green” skills for all professions; labor market trend watching; management of adaptive processes in conditions of martial law and post-war recovery; as well as determinants of professional success of teachers in higher education institutions.
Cooperation of the DonSUIA with the Junior Academy of Sciences will continue in joint projects and STEM programs for gifted youth, opening up new opportunities for the development of scientific potential and modern education in Ukraine.
