Staffers of the Special Operations Unit of the National Police of Ukraine Joint Assault Brigade “Liut” together with the Department of Tactical and Special Training and Personal Safety of Police Officer and the Department of Fire Training of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, held an optional class for graduating higher education seekers.
The training took place at three specialized locations. During the tactical medicine module, the participants practiced the algorithms for providing emergency first aid in a combat zone, including examining the victim, stopping massive bleeding, temporary immobilization, and evacuating the wounded.
In the training area of the assault groups, exercises on approach planning, clearing premises, and team interaction and communication under stress were practiced.
The fire training module was dedicated to improving aiming techniques, safe handling of weapons, and performing combat exercises in a mode close to reality.
Each stage was accompanied by strict adherence to safety measures, gradual increase in the complexity of the tasks, and a detailed analysis of mistakes during the after-action review. The “Liut” instructors provided valuable advice on tactics, interaction, and psychological preparation.
