As part of the «Centre for Psychological Practices» project, Oleksandra Kharchenko, a leading psychologist in the Psychological Support Unit of the Human Resources Department at Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, delivered a session for cadets at the E.O. Didenko, on the topic «Developing Professional Communication Skills and Information Perception» in the university’s Psychological Relief Room.

During the training session, participants undertook interactive exercises aimed at developing skills in effective communication, critical thinking and unbiased perception of information.


They also discussed the influence of stereotypes on people’s perceptions and decision-making, the importance of verifying information, and the negative consequences of spreading rumours and gossip in a police officer’s professional practice.
