The open championship of the Donetsk region in kettlebell sports among adults and veterans was held online.
Athletes from Volnovakha, Kramatorsk, Novogrodivka, Pokrovsk, Mariupol, Kurakhovo and Bakhmut territorial communities of the Donetsk region, as well as representatives of the Kirovohrad region and the Dnipropetrovsk region, took part in the championship. Tetiana Neskreba, a cadet of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation units, represented the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs in the championship.
The competition was held according to the program “weight jerk with arbitrary change of hands” during 12 minutes: men – with kettlebells weighing 24 and 16 kg, women – 16 kg and 12 kg, veterans – 24 kg and 16 kg.
The DonSUIA cadet won a victory among women, lifting a 16 kg kettlebell 202 times. The world and European champion, master of kettlebell sports of Ukraine, multiple winner of “Dynamiada” added the gold medal of the Donetsk region championship to her collection.
