The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs is joining an information campaign aimed at informing children and young people from the temporarily occupied territories about opportunities to enter and pursue education in Ukraine.
A special commemorative postage stamp issue, “Your Address Is Ukraine,” has become a symbolic reminder of the unbreakable connection between young people and Ukraine. Its presentation took place on 12 August, International Youth Day, at Kyiv Central Railway Station.
The title of the issue carries a profound meaning: an address is not merely a place on a map, but also the people, language, culture, and country to which we remain connected regardless of circumstances. A swallow adorned with a blue-and-yellow ribbon symbolizes connection, return, and the journey home.
Ukraine creates opportunities for young people from the temporarily occupied territories. In 2026, 217 educational centers are operating where prospective students can receive consultations on required documents, special admission conditions, and relevant procedures. Special admission conditions are available to applicants from the temporarily occupied territories, including Quota 2, while some admission procedures can be completed remotely.
Importantly, support does not end after admission. Applicants and students have access to state targeted support, priority accommodation in student dormitories, as well as legal, financial, psychological, and social assistance.
