Research and teaching staff from the Department of Psychology, Sociology, and Pedagogy at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs participated in a specialized training seminar titled «Providing Initial Psychological Support to Participants in the Educational Process», organized by the National Academy of Internal Affairs.
During the training, participants learned about modern approaches to providing psychological first aid, algorithms for initial psychological support, and the specifics of responding to crisis and traumatic events.
Special attention was given to methods for stabilizing emotional states, principles of effective communication with people experiencing acute stress, as well as practical tools for psychological self-help and the prevention of professional burnout.
Upon successful completion of the training seminar, participants received certificates attesting to their enhanced professional competence in providing psychological first aid to participants in the educational process.
