Training highly qualified police officers is one of the key areas of activity at Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs. The completion of professional development courses for patrol officers from four regions of Ukraine serves as yet another confirmation of this work.

Pylyp Yepryntsev, Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning at the DonSUIA, congratulated the participants on completing their training, emphasizing that the knowledge and practical skills they acquired will help police officers perform their duties more effectively and ensure the safety of citizens.
The professional continuing education program covered current issues related to ensuring public safety and order, respecting human rights and freedoms, professional ethics, tactical training, and the specifics of performing duties under martial law. Special attention was paid to developing effective communication skills with citizens, strengthening officers’ psychological resilience, and practicing response protocols for crisis situations.
Following the training, 24 officers from patrol police departments in the Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, and Poltava regions successfully passed a comprehensive final exam and received certificates of professional development.
