Olha Kovaliova, Rector Assistant of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs Doctor of Law and Associate Professor conducted an interactive lecture «Service Without Borders» for education seekers, focusing on the structure and activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine.

During the session, the participants upgraded their understanding of the organizational structure and functioning of Ukraine’s internal affairs bodies, gaining insight into the specific activities of their units and modern operational mechanisms of the law enforcement system.

Particular attention was paid to the role of each component of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system in ensuring public safety, combating crime, and fostering international cooperation within the context of European integration. The cadets also learned about various aspects of law enforcement work, career development opportunities, and the specifics of the service – ranging from preventive activities and pre-trial investigations to international cooperation.

«Such sessions help future officers not only to study theory but also to see the actual structure in which they will have to serve», noted Olha Kovaliova.
