The All-Ukrainian forum «Science and Scientists of the Ukrainian Frontline: Present and Future», organized by the Association of Frontline Cities and Communities together with the Kharkiv City Council was held in Kharkiv.
Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Social Management of the DonSUIA, Doctor of Law, Professor Tetiana Koliesnik, joined the discussion on current challenges and prospects of the science development in wartime conditions.
The forum was opened by head of the Association of Frontline Cities and Communities, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of developing scientific and educational potential as a key component of Ukraine’s reconstruction.
In his turn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovations Serhii Babak, focused on the need to preserve and develop the state’s scientific potential, as well as strengthen the role of higher education institutions in shaping an innovative economy.
During the event, the participants discussed the issue of creating the most favorable conditions for professional realization of students and teachers in Ukraine in order to preserve the intellectual potential of the state, paying special attention to the role of academic mobility as an important area of international cooperation, professional development, and integration of Ukrainian science into the global scientific and academic space.
