From June 4 to June 7, 2026, on the basis of the Vysoki Bairaky Gymnasium of the Velykoseverynivka rural community of the Kropyvnytskyi district, the II (regional) stage of the All-Ukrainian children’s and youth military-patriotic game «Sokil» («Jura») in the age group 15–17 was held.
The event brought together active young people from various territorial communities of the region, who competed in military-patriotic tests, demonstrating their knowledge, physical training and team cohesion.
The opening of the event was attended by the representatives of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs administration, Vice-Rector, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ruslan Vradii and Head of the Social and Humanitarian Work Department Yana Bohdanova. They wished the game participants success, endurance, fair fight and new achievements.
During those four days of staying in the camp, DonSUIA higher education seekers and instructors, acting as judges and camp foremen, participated in the work of competitive and training locations, contributing to the upbringing and development of team spirit, high moral and psychological qualities in the boys and girls, in particular courage, boldness, determination, discipline, civic resilience, and defense consciousness.
The DonSUIA representatives paid special attention to familiarizing the participants with the specifics of service in the National Police of Ukraine and the possibilities of entering the University.
The DonSUIA participation in the regional stage of the game is an important component of the national-patriotic education of youth and it confirms the University’s active position in forming a conscious, responsible and patriotic generation of the citizens of Ukraine.
