The All-Ukrainian Student Scientific Forum «Youth and Science – 2026: Modern Challenges and Prospects» was held at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, which united higher education seekers from more than twenty leading institutions of Ukraine.

Addressing the participants, the DonSUIA Rector, Doctor of Law, Professor, Police Colonel Serhii Vitvitskyi emphasized: «Your scientific developments testify to the maturity and foresight of Ukrainian youth. You are not just responding to the challenges of the time, but you are also creating the foundation for the future of Ukraine. That is why supporting student science and educating a new scientific elite is not only an important task of our University, but also a strategic duty of the state, because investments in young scientists are investments in the future of Ukraine».
The moderator of the forum, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Social Management of the DonSUIA, Doctor of Law, Professor Tetiana Kolesnik emphasized that a modern university is a space for supporting youth research, and the task of mentors is to help student ideas grow into real developments and patents necessary for the restoration of Ukraine.
During the event, the participants presented their own scientific achievements, exchanged experiences, and joined discussions on the role of youth in shaping the future of the state. Particular attention was focused on innovative approaches in the field of artificial intelligence, digitalization, the development of legal institutions, and the preservation of mental health in martial law.

Based on the results of the discussions, the participants developed practical recommendations that will be included in the collection of forum materials and will be used in educational and practical activities.

The event was co-organized by the Youth Council under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Department of Education and Science of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration, the Youth Council of the Kirovohrad Region, and the NGO «Ukrainian Association of Students».
