On the occasion of Vyshyvanka Day, a patriotic challenge «The ethno-code matches a cadet/student» was held at the general library of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
Its central event was a large-scale photo challenge with thematic posters of authentic embroidery from different regions of Ukraine. A symbolic geography of the event united the whole country – from indomitable Donetsk to hospitable Kropyvnytskyi and from majestic Lviv to the heart of the Motherland – Kyiv.

In addition to samples of traditional motifs, cadets and students prepared a series of posters «Ukrainian tradition is fashionable», created with the help of artificial intelligence, which allowed to reveal the beauty of national dress and language in a new way in the digital age.
Also an important component of the event was the book installation «Word and Embroidery on Guard of Identity». Specialized publications on history, ethnography, and literature harmoniously complemented the space, emphasizing the fundamental role of the native word in preserving spiritual strength and a cultural code of the nation.
The event was organized within the framework of the main project the «Code of the Nation: Formation of Ukrainian Identity» and the cycle «Ukrainian: Language as a Shield of the Nation».
