The Ukrainian Open Indoor Athletics Championship among sports veterans was held in Kyiv, which brought together over 100 athletes from different regions of the country.
In the age category of 40–44 years, the victory in the 800-meter distance was won by Head of Special Physical Training Department of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, Ihor Shostak. The athlete won the gold medal, demonstrating a high level of training and endurance.
