Third-year students of the Law Enforcement Program at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs have begun a crucial stage of their studies. Over the next eight weeks, future officers will undergo internships in units of the National Police of Ukraine in 16 regions of the country.

This year the greatest number of cadets was sent to the Main Office of the National Police in the Kirovohrad region.
Head of the Main Office of the National Police in the Kirovohrad region, Police Colonel Andrii Dubrova, welcoming future colleagues, emphasized:
«Internship is a unique opportunity to see the work of police from the inside and feel the responsibility of every law enforcement officer. Use this time for professional growth, show initiative, adhere to discipline and standards, respect citizens, and work as a team with your mentors and unit personnel».
Heads of specialized services wished the police officers endurance and attention to details.
This year’s practical training is organized in two specialized areas. Cadets of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units named after E.O. Didorenko will acquire practical skills in detective work on the basis of Criminal Investigation Departments.
At the same time, higher education seekers from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Preventive Activities Units of the National Police of Ukraine will undergo internships in territorial police bodies, where they will study the specifics of ensuring public security and order.
Internships will help young people consolidate their knowledge in real conditions and will be a step towards professional development in the ranks of the police.
