Representatives of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs – Vice-Rector of the University Ruslan Vradii, Assistant to the Rector for Work with Veterans Anton Doroshenko and Head of the Department of Special Physical Training Ihor Shostak – participated in a working meeting initiated by the Kirovograd Regional Military Administration, dedicated to the development of veteran sports in the region.
The meeting was opened by Kateryna Koltunova, Deputy Head of the Kirovohrad MRA, emphasizing that veteran sport remains one of the region’s priorities for 2026. During the discussion, key areas were identified: development of inclusive sports infrastructure, creation of accessible locations for adaptive classes, and holding training and sports events with the participation of the University.
The DonSUIA is ready not only to train, but also to promote rehabilitation and social adaptation of veterans through work with communities and information campaigns that involve them in educational and sports programs.
