The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs is taking a confident step towards the European educational space. A strategic partnership with one of the most prestigious institutions in Spain – the University of Barcelona – opens up new opportunities for training future law enforcement officers according to international standards.
Cooperation between universities involves development of academic exchanges, introduction of modern European educational practices, and expansion of international contacts for higher education seekers and teachers.
A special place in this cooperation is occupied by participation in the international program TRANSJUS WEBINARS: UKRAINE ACADEMIC EXCHANGE, implemented by the Transjus Institute headed by Dr. Monica Navarro-Michel and Olga Tylchyk together with the Faculty of Law of the University of Barcelona. A series of online webinars provides Ukrainian youth and scientists with the opportunity to study according to modern European standards, communicate with leading experts in the field of law, public administration, social policy and technology.
The next step will be to increase academic mobility: it is planned to create conditions for internships and training scientific and pedagogical staff of the DonSUIA in Barcelona, which will allow them to adopt European educational practices and increase participation in joint research projects.
Cooperation with the University of Barcelona confirms the desire of the DonSUIA to implement European standards of education, science, and professional training.
