The Veterans’ Hub and the Center for National and Patriotic Education have started operating at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
During their presentation, the DonSUIA rector Serhii Vitvitskyi, and head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, Andrii Raikovych, agreed on cooperation in exchanging experience and implementing the main principles and directions of state policy in the field of strengthening national and civic identity, about which a memorandum was signed.
The document provides for the implementation of joint projects and events at the regional and all-Ukrainian levels to form the population’s defense awareness, language culture, conduct innovative trainings, practical classes in tactical, special, fire and pre-medical training, etc.
Particular attention will be paid to the implementation of youth initiatives regarding career guidance activities, training of the requested specialists in the fields of law, law enforcement, economics, public administration, psychology, and acquisition of primary general military and special competencies.
The DonSUIA and the Kirovohrad RMA will contribute to the support of military personnel and veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the development of veteran sports, the rehabilitation of war veterans with disabilities through adaptive sports, their successful socialization, as well as interaction with volunteer and public organizations to support the defenders of Ukraine.
