On April 30, a general meeting of the DonSUIA staff was held to resolve urgent issues of the University’s activities. The event was opened by the University rector police colonel Serhii Vitvitskyi. He emphasized the importance of eliminating the shortcomings identified during the University inspection by the commission of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and focused on the teamwork of the staffers of the higher education institution. Serhii Vitvitsky outlined the need to put permanent personnel of the DonSUIA on military registration and comply with anti-corruption legislation.
The University vice-rectors reported on the preliminary results of eliminating shortcomings identified by the commission of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine as a result of a comprehensive planned inspection of the DonSUIA. Acting vice-rector of the University, police major Yevhen Yakovenko, reported on the main provisions of the law “On Mobilization Training and Mobilization” in terms of putting permanent personnel of the DonSUIA on military registration and organization of reservations.

The meeting of the University staff ended with handing over certificates on the temporary transfer of free use service housing to head of the department for ensuring educational and scientific activities of LSEI named after E.O.Didorenko of the DonSUIA to police major Volodymyr Veretiannikov, director of the “Police Academy” of the DonSUIA, to police major Ilia Merkulov, head of the department of organizational and analytical work and control of police major Tetiana Prosvirina.
