An adviser on gender issues Alina Skliar, head of the department of social humanitarian work and monitoring Kateryna Shneider together with the cadets presented the DonSUIA at the international forum “Women in society: LEADERSHIP. EXPERIENCE. INNOVATIONS”, which took place in the city of Dnipro.

In her address deputy minister of internal affairs of Ukraine, Kateryna Pavlichenko, noted that leadership is a thing that our society and the whole world need: “Policewomen demonstrate their activity and readiness to carry out their duties in an enhanced manner. They motivate others not to give up and to perform their duties better. Today, women make up more than 27 percent of the total number of police officers. With their daily work, they make a great contribution to ensuring law and order, protecting the rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens. Also, female law enforcement officers are actively engaged in volunteer and humanitarian work. I am convinced that such women are found in every sphere of social life. And this confirms the fact that a woman’s place is where she herself chooses to be.”
After the plenary session, the participants listened to the speakers’ reports on the role of women in the social, law enforcement and defense spheres, in science, business and sports.
The international forum contributed to the disclosure of the personal and professional potential of women and girls, the unification of the leaders of various fields of activity, the formation of their community and mutual support, as well as motivation to overcome the challenges of life.
