The DonSUIA is a participant of the “Bologna Hub Peer Support II” project, funded by Erasmus+ and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. More than 60 representatives of the University met online with project experts Yelena Istileulova and Sandra Kraze.
Yehor Nazymko, the first vice-rector of the DonSUIA, addressed the participants of the event. He presented the University, talked about its history, specifics and achievements.
The experts of the project analyzed the University activities in accordance with the criteria and standards of the Bologna process, focused on the visibility of the University in international University ratings.
The aim of the project is to promote the implementation of the main directions of the Bologna system activity in higher educational institutions. Its duration is from September 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024. The project team consists of 26 experts from 16 European countries. The DonSUIA is one of 33 participating Universities.
During the workshop, Yelena Istileulova familiarized those present with the content, the main components of the Bologna process and its priorities until 2024.
Sandra Kraze talked about mobility and internationalization. Special attention was paid to the harmonization of Ukrainian higher education system with the European area of higher education, cooperation with European Universities and scientific institutions, etc. The participants discussed the academic mobility of higher education seekers and the staffers of higher education institutions, the introduction of double degree programs, the involvement of foreign lecturers in the educational process, the implementation of international and educational scientific projects.
The themes of innovative teaching and learning; lifelong education; implementation of student-centered education; development of new and inclusive approaches; digitization were also considered.
