The youth program UPSHIFT which is implemented by United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in partnership with the NGO `SCC`Zadzerkallia` was presented in the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs on September 7, 2022.
The innovative youth program is aimed at creating new projects focusing on overcoming the consequences of war in their communities.
Oleksandr Kashlakov is the project manager in the Kirovohrad region indicated that the program is realized in more than 40 countries and combines training on social innovations and financial support. It gives modern skills of 21st century and resources for youth to determine the problems and offer innovative solutions. The program develops the viability of young people, and their communities benefit from the decisions offered by youth.
Currently, the teams from the Kirovohrad region can participate in a new enrolment for the UPSHIFT program called ` Together to studying`. It will give youth the opportunity to look for answers to current challenges in the educational process.

The teams from the Kirovohrad region (3-5 participants aged from 14 to 24 years old) are invited to take part in the UPSHIFT program.
