Volunteering at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs is an integral part of the educational process and a reflection of the students’ conscious civic stance.
The University cadets and students regularly participate in the activities of the Volunteer Headquarters, where they personally make camouflage nets and trench candles for Ukrainian defenders.
The operations of the headquarters are coordinated by Viktor Shcherbyna, a war veteran and a leading specialist in the Social and Humanitarian Work Department at the DonSUIA. According to him, service members regularly express their gratitude and confirm that the aid received is vital and significantly boosts their capabilities while carrying out combat missions.
