Another graduate of the «Barrier-Free Driving School» at Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs – Anatoliy Zlagovanu, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war – has obtained a Category B driving licence.
From 2022, the soldier carried out combat duties with the infantry in the Avdiivka sector, where he sustained a mine-blast injury. Despite these challenges, Anatoliy focused on his recovery and set himself a new goal – to become a driver. That is why he enrolled at the «Barrier-Free Driving School» at Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, which helps veterans return to active life.
Having successfully acquired the necessary knowledge and skills, the veteran passed his practical test at the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ service centre and was awarded a Category B driving licence.
The «Barrier-Free Driving Schools» project is being implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine as part of an initiative by First Lady Olena Zelenska.
