The first class has been conducted in the DonSUIA “Education of Integrity” Training Center. It was intended for external interested parties from among the anti-corruption commissioners of the institutions administrated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, authorities and local self-government of the Kirovohrad and Donetsk regions.
The only anti-corruption center in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was opened in October 2023 with the support of NATO. Its purpose is to promote the development of a virtuous worldview, to increase the understanding of virtuous principles and standards of behavior among the staffers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the community as a whole.
The event was attended by the representatives of: the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, the Kropyvnytskyi and Bakhmut City Councils, the Central-Southern Interregional Department of the State Migration Service, the Regional Service Center of the MSC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Main Office of the National Police of Ukraine, the Main Office of the State Emergency Service in Kirovohrad Region, the Kirovohrad SREFC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, SI “TMU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kirovohrad Region”.
The lecturers of the Center conducted trainings on the following topics: general provisions and principles of the policy of ensuring compliance with integrity in society; requirements, restrictions and prohibitions as a component of virtuous behavior; the role of the сhief in promoting integrity in the team; anti-corruption education as a means of promoting virtuous behavior and combating corruption.
During the training, they used modern coaching methods: involving the listeners in an active dialogue, performing situational exercises and practical tasks, group discussions in the format of a world cafe, and role-playing games.
Rector of the DonSUIA Serhii Vitvitskyi congratulated the participants of the training on the successful completion of their studies and presented them with certificates.
The DonSUIA Training Center “Education of Integrity” continues its work in the area of promoting and developing a virtuous worldview, increasing the understanding of virtuous principles and standards of behavior among its listeners, and also invites for cooperation.
