Students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Social Management of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs Sofia Velychko and Kateryna Bershadska joined the international Study Tours to Poland (STP) program in the city of Peremyshel
The Study Tours to Poland program is implemented by the Polish-American Freedom Foundation with the support of the Leaders for Change and Borussia foundations. Its goal is to develop partnerships between young people from Eastern Europe and Poland, as well as to promote professional growth and establishment of civic values.
During their stay in Poland, the higher education seekers visited leading Polish Universities, got familiarized with the educational models of Poland and Ukraine, and also learned about the peculiarities of municipal governance, decentralization, and development of the non-governmental sector.
Sofia Velychko and Kateryna Bershadska not only gained new knowledge, but also presented Ukrainian experience, sharing their own achievements in the field of civic activism and education.
This format of international cooperation contributes to the formation of modern European vision in future specialists in the field of law and social management.
