Higher education seekers of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Social Management of the DonSUIA participated in the youth internship program in local government bodies, which took place in Kropyvnytskyi.
The program is being implemented by National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Higher School of Public Administration together with the public organization “Association of Public Advisors of Ukraine” with the support of UNDP in Ukraine and funding from the Government of Denmark
The DonSUIA was represented by Anna Liashenko, Sofiia Khaletska, Daniil Chornyi, and Oleksandra Demydova. The participants demonstrated a high level of motivation for professional development, teamwork skills, and willingness to apply the acquired knowledge in practical activities.
During the internship, the young people worked in the executive bodies of the Kropyvnytskyi City Council. The interns learned about the activities of local government bodies, acquired practical competencies, improved communication skills, mastered the basics of project management, and deepened their understanding of decision-making procedures at the local level.
At the ceremonial summing up, the participants were addressed by the Secretary of the City Council, Oleh Koliuka, and Head of the Executive Committee, Svitlana Balakirieva. They thanked the young people for their activity and presented them with certificates of successful completion of their internship.
