A round table “Implementation of the Veterans’ Policy Strategy” was held at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, which brought together representatives of state institutions, public organizations, educational institutions, and experts to jointly identify practical ways to support war veterans.
The event participants discussed key areas of the state strategy, including ensuring social protection, professional adaptation, employment, psychological rehabilitation, and educational opportunities for veterans. Special attention was paid to issues of interdepartmental interaction, coordination of actions at the regional level, and implementation of best practices in supporting defenders of Ukraine.
The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs has established itself as a reliable platform for constructive dialogue and exchange of experience in the field of veterans support, contributing to the formation of an effective and needs-oriented state policy system for the defenders of Ukraine.
