Evacuation of the DonUIA higher education seekers and its staffers to the elementary shelters after the “Airborne alarm” signal was practiced. Within a minimum period of time, following the defined plan, training participants left the training premises and were relocated to a safe area.
They also conducted an inspection of compliance with fire safety requirements and practical training on the evacuation of cadets and the staff in case of fire in one of the educational buildings. Representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kirovohrad region clearly explained the principle of extinguishing fire using a fire extinguisher.
According to current legislation, compliance with fire safety rules at the DonSUIA is the subject of special control. All premises are equipped with special equipment, and technical condition of the fire extinguishing system is also regularly checked.
“In the conditions of war and increased danger, it is important to follow the rules and coordinate the actions. Practices guarantee a quick response to the “Air Alarm” signal. It will save health and even life!” – Yevhen Yakovenko, head of the service organization department admitted.
