Adherence to the principles of integrity and financial control is an integral part of service in law enforcement agencies. That is why as part of the current declaration campaign an informational meeting was held for graduating cadets of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, who will soon begin service as investigators and inquirers.
The speakers of the event were Anna Melnyk, Commissioner for Anti-Corruption of the DonSUIA, and Iryna Kovalenko, Acting Head of Commissioner for Anti-Corruption of the Main Office of the National Police of Ukraine.
Representatives of the agencies explained the current changes in legislation and provided practical advice on how to correctly fill out e-declarations and avoid typical mistakes.
Due to professional explanations, young people understood the intricacies of anti-corruption regulations – from deadlines for submitting declarations to legal liability for errors in reporting.
The participants consolidated the knowledge they gained with a detailed analysis of filling out sections on income, property, corporate rights, financial obligations, and received answers to complex questions regarding the technical nuances of declaring family assets.
