The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs has started certification of graduates. 295 higher education seekers, who were once sent for training there by the Main Office of the National Police from 19 regions of Ukraine, have begun taking certification exams for the degree of Bachelor of Law in the specialties of «Law» and «Law Enforcement».
Future investigators, operatives, and staffers of prevention units, according to their chosen specialty, take a comprehensive certification exam in «Constitutional Law, Civil Law, and Labor Law», as well as comprehensive certification exams with elements of a police quest in academic disciplines «Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Forensic Science», «Administrative Law, Administrative Procedure, Police activities and Operational and Investigative activities».
The cadets demonstrate theoretical knowledge acquired during their training and practical skills developed and improved during their internship in practical units of the National Police of Ukraine.Leading specialists from the investigative department, preventive activities departments and criminal police of the Main Office of the National Police in the Kirovohrad region are involved in the work of the commissions. Their participation ensures the objectivity of assessment and significantly brings the certification exams closer to the realities that graduates will encounter in a few weeks as officers in the bodies and units of the National Police.
The received assessments will confirm the readiness of the DonSUIA graduates to perform professional tasks in today’s extremely difficult conditions.
