A ceremonial event was held at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs on the eve of the Day of Honoring Pensioners and Veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police of Ukraine. The event was dedicated to people whose long service has become a model of honor, courage, and unquestioning devotion to the Ukrainian state.
At the University’s Veterans Hub, the University’s rector, police colonel Serhii Vitvitskyi, addressed the audience with words of gratitude. He personally greeted each guest, emphasizing that the path of veterans is the foundation of the modern law enforcement system.
«Your service is a living story of honor, resilience, and self-sacrifice for the sake of Ukraine. It deserves deep respect and preservation in the memory of future generations, » head of the University emphasized.
The logical continuation of these words was the presentation of certificates of gratitude, which officially recognized the experience and wisdom of those who stood guard over the law for decades.
