A ceremonial formation was held at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs on the occasion of Knowledge Day.
At the beginning of the event, those present honored the memory of the Heroes, who gave their lives for our Motherland, with a minute of silence.
First Vice-Rector Olena Volobuieva congratulated the cadets, teachers, and guests on the holiday, emphasizing that the future of law enforcement in our country directly depends on professionalism, responsibility, and dedication of new generations of law enforcement officers.
A special moment of the formation was transmission of a symbolic Phoenix chevron to the first-year students –a new tradition introduced. From now on, it will be transferred to the new generation of cadets every year as a symbol of honor, courage, and continuity of generations.
After being officially accepted to the University, the first year cadets marched in a ceremonial procession, demonstrating unity and readiness to serve the state.
