As a part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ “Friendly Support” project, the Kyokushinkai karate classes for war veterans were held at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
Vice President of the Strongman Federation of Ukraine Oleksandr Lashyn, combatants Mykhailo Drobotenko, Andrii Kazarin, Mykola Ivko, Yevhen Serhiienko, Oleksandr Dyvulskyi and higher education seekers joined the training.
Volodymyr Halimskyi, associate professor of the department of special physical and premedical training at the DonSUIA, a 4th dan black belt in karate, demonstrated a series of exercises that helped the participants learn new techniques and practice them.
The military noted that such classes contribute not only to physical but also to psychological rehabilitation.
The cadets of the DonSUIA thanked the defenders of Ukraine for their heroism and invited them to new joint training sessions.
