An important working meeting with representatives of the international company Tetra Tech took place at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs. This company is known for its expertise in developing projects in the fields of security, infrastructure, and, which is especially relevant for Ukraine, humanitarian demining.
During the meeting, the DonSUIA teachers and Tetra Tech specialists agreed on the training modules of mine security course, emphasizing their practicality and relevance to modern challenges. They discussed organization of trainings for trainers, arrangement of specialized classrooms, and the need for equipment upgrades.
The parties also outlined further areas of cooperation, including joint projects in the field of humanitarian demining.
Through cooperation with one of the world’s leading partners, the University strengthens its role in shaping a safe environment, develops modern training standards, and contributes to the future mine security system of Ukraine.
