With the onset of frost, the survival of homeless animals depends on humans’ not being indifferent. Understanding the severity of this problem, the DonSUIA cadets of the faculty of Training of Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine, initiated a charity campaign to help animals that found themselves on the streets in winter.

As part of the initiative, law enforcement officers provided animals with food and water, demonstrating a humane attitude towards those in need of protection: “Every day we see animals seeking salvation next to people. “Our task as future officers is to be an example of humanity for the society. Sometimes a simple portion of food or warm water can save a life.”

Such actions confirm that a culture of service to the society is being formed in the DonSUIA, where professional training of cadets is inextricably linked to the upbringing of humanity, responsibility, and respect for every life.
