The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs became a venue for the professional forum «Innovative Technologies in Forensics», dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the University.
The forum brought together leading scientists from the Academician V.V. Stashys Research Institute for the Study of Crime Problems, the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the King Danylo University, staffers of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine, experts from the Kirovohrad SRECC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, members of the American Printing Association, and representatives of state institutions from different regions of Ukraine.
The participants focused on the use of innovative technologies in forensics, including unmanned aerial vehicles, modern DNA expertise and polygraph examinations. During their professional dialogue, they exchanged practical experience, discussed current challenges in the area of forensics and outlined promising directions for the development of forensic methods in the current conditions.
The event has acquired particular significance in the context of wartime, when the latest technologies play an important role in documenting events, investigating offenses and ensuring effective justice.
