At the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, a simulation exercise on the topic “Documentation of crimes related to human trafficking” was held for higher education seekers of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine.


The speakers at the event were the University scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Forensics, representatives of the migration police, the investigative department of the Main Office of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kirovohrad region, and the public organization “White Sheet”.



The practitioners shared their experience of investigating crimes related to human trafficking, emphasizing the importance of accuracy and adherence to procedural norms. They also focused on ensuring the rights of victims and provided recommendations for effective police interaction with victims.

During the event, the cadets practiced key stages of criminal proceedings – from conducting a search to identifying victims and suspects – and mastered the tactics of interrogating a minor victim in cases involving vulnerable categories.
