Higher education seekers of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs took part in writing the National Test on Media Literacy, which is being implemented at the initiative of the National Project “Filter” of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine.


This year, the tasks cover five thematic blocks: media literacy and fact-checking; media: reliability and impact of information; artificial intelligence; social networks; online security and combating fraud.

Head of the Department of Operational Investigation and Information Security of the DonSUIA, Olha Lunhol, noted that media literacy is not only the ability to recognize fakes, but also the ability to critically evaluate information, respond to manipulations, and maintain objectivity under any conditions.
The DonSUIA participation in testing confirms an important role of media literacy in shaping professional culture and readiness of future law enforcement officers to act effectively.
