On the initiative of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, a family information and educational event «Families of the Donetsk Region: From Generation to Generation» dedicated to Father’s Day was held at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs
The initiative brought together over 100 internally displaced persons from the Donetsk Region, representatives of public organizations, humanitarian hubs, government institutions, educators, children and parents who currently live and work in Kropyvnytskyi.
The participants were welcomed by the University Vice-Rector Ruslan Vradii and Head of the Department of Family, Youth and Mass Events of National and Patriotic Education of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Liliia Zolkina, who noted the importance of supporting relocated families.
The event program combined information, advisory, cultural and educational components. The adults had the opportunity to receive up-to-date information on employment, the 2026 admission campaign, educational opportunities for children and youth, social protection, pensions, medical services and programs to support vitality.
Interactive locations, creative master classes, educational activities and board games were organized for children. The atmosphere of family warmth, unity and support was complemented by creative performances of the DonSUIA cadets and representatives of the Donetsk region relocated communities. They were dedicated to family values, love for the native land and respect for parents.
The patriotic theme was continued by watching a video clip «The Sky of the Donetsk Region», which became a key element of the event, reflecting the history and cultural heritage of the region.
The event ended with a joint coloring of a large map of Ukraine, which united the adults and children in a bright embodiment of faith in the unity of our state and peaceful future of every family.
