Oksana Lychko, senior forensic expert in handwriting research sector of forensic research department at the Kirovohrad Scientific Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, conducted an optional practical class on «Checking Documents and Identifying Signs of Forgery» for the cadets of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
The purpose of the event is to apply theoretical knowledge in practice using modern devices, familiarizing with the nuances known only to practitioners.
«Our main task is to develop practical skills to detect signs of the document forgery among the police officers, as well as to solve technical expertise tasks», said Oksana Lychko.
The higher education seekers of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units got acquainted with the operation of the «Regula» 4307 video spectral comparator. They also had a study excursion of the expert institution.
The meeting was organized by the academic staff of the department of tactical and special training of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs. They expressed gratitude to their colleagues from the Kirovohrad Scoentific and Research Forensic Center at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for their assistance and cooperation.
