The DonSUIA higher education seekers of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units met with representatives of the Strategic Investigations Unit in the Kirovohrad region of the Department of Strategic Investigations.
The event took place within the framework of the ongoing platform on the quality of the educational process, “Edu_DonDUIA_Campus: partnership and stakeholders’ responsibility in training police officers.”
Head of the unit, police colonel Dmytro Yandovych, spoke about the peculiarities of strategic investigation units’ activities to combat organized crime, corruption, and economic crime under the legal regime of martial law.
He paid special attention to cooperation of his unit with other services of the National Police of Ukraine and law enforcement agencies. During the dialogue, the cadets asked questions about the training and professional competencies of the USI operational officer.
The DonSUIA thanks the representatives of the Strategic Investigations Unit in the Kirovohrad region of the Department of Strategic Investigations for their assistance in implementing a practice-oriented approach to training and developing professional competencies in future police officers.
