Support for people with disabilities is one of the state’s priority directions for protecting the rights and opportunities of the citizens. In the conditions of a full-scale war, this issue becomes even more topical.
Within the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska “Without barriers”, the second driving school for people with disabilities was opened on the basis of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
The first vice-rector of the University Yehor Nazymko told the listeners of the Polish Radio for Ukraine about the prospects, conditions and terms of training.
“The driving school for people with disabilities in Kryvyi Rih became the second after the one in Kropyvnytskyi operating on the basis of DonSUIA. In the country where war continues, the demand for inclusive services is, unfortunately, constantly growing. Defenders who have returned from the front have to adapt to new living conditions, and we help them in this.”
