Oleksandr Vilkul, Chairman of the Defense Council of Kryvyi Rih, recognized Daria Makaruk, a student of the faculty of law, management and economic security of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, for her active participation in volunteer, social and charitable activities.
A member of the Ternivka Unity NGO, she and her colleagues are constantly involved in the aftermath of enemy attacks in her native Kryvyi Rih.
While studying in Kropyvnytskyi, Daria every time finds an opportunity to come home to help her family and support the community.
